What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is the study of how the body can become structurally out of balance. It combines scientific and medical knowledge of anatomy and physiology with clinical methods of investigation.
An osteopath focuses on the musculo-skeletal system, using their hands to diagnose damaged parts of the body, including muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints. This is done by recognising the malfunction within the structure and assisting with the body's natural healing.
Treatment can benefit people of all ages including the elderly, pregnant women, babies and children.
